Bizspace Ltd is a national commercial property development company that provide office, industrial and commercial space to businesses across the country. As part of their development programme for their office space in Huddersfield, the procurement department contracted the services of StormDart to project manage the investment process for the renovation plans for the Marsh Mills property.
The offices on the upper levels of the building required light cosmetic work, while the lower levels were in a state of disrepair. The investment, with a net worth of approximately £16,000.00 was to equip the spaces to maximise on rental revenue.
A strict plan and process was developed and implemented by the project handlers at StormDart with key, rigid deliverables identified to ensure the successful completion of the project. Sub-contractors and works were organised. Risk assessments and remits were allocated and weighted against.
The renovation is able to make a return on investment of just under 3 months; very sustainable for the company.
