As part of the package, StormDart also developed and host an online website for the company which effectively communicates the company ethos and image whilst also showcasing their products and services to further potential clients and customers.  StormDart also provided several graphic design services which have typified and realised their brands of products.

The offices on the upper levels of the building required light cosmetic work, while the lower levels were in a state of disrepair.  The investment, with a net worth of approximately £16,000.00 was to equip the spaces to maximise on rental revenue.

A strict plan and process was developed and implemented by the project handlers at StormDart with key, rigid deliverables identified to ensure the successful completion of the project.  Sub-contractors and works were organised.  Risk assessments and remits were allocated and weighted against.

The renovation is able to make a return on investment of just under 3 months; very sustainable for the company.

Ben Little will replace Nathan Winch as Managing Director effective as of the 16th May 2011.  The change is one facet of the changes currently set out for the next two to three months.

Nathan Winch made a statement saying,

As of the 16th May 2011, I will be stepping down as Managing Director of StormDart Limited.  I will now act as Chief Executive in higher decision.  I would like to make a note for all our clients that activity will resume as normal, however, future transactions and regular business activity may alter to provide a better service and more viable methodical procedures to dealing with private sector engagement.  Public sector work will continue as normal, also for the foreseeable future. 

Our sister company, BlueLounge Solutions Ltd will also take a radical change in structure.  The company is currently undergoing change to become part of the StormDart family.  The current director, Ben Little, will become my replacement as Managing Director of StormDart Limited.  A full report will be delivered to all employees and clients regarding this matter.  Ben will now be the head of operations at StormDart Limited, while I step up as Chairman of the company.

To acknowledge this change in management structure, there is a celebratory dinner afternoon in the pipeline for all employees, employees’ guests and current clients.  We will keep you updated on this, in addition to the prescribed changes that may occur over the next few months.

BlueLounge Solutions Limited will also become part of the StormDart family and will continue trading as a StormDart Limited trading name.  Future business transitions will now be part of the ‘higher decision’ which will have the full attention of, now, Chairman, Nathan Winch.

WeLikeHosting.com was a social media challenge that was tackled in a pro-active manner.  From executive capital funding decisions, to operative recruitment and management, the whole project became successful through the sustainable partnership of StormDart and BlueLounge Solutions.

The aim was to structuralise a hosting infrastructure that could house thousands of websites and web domains.  The feasibility study analysed such aspects as client psycology, technological variance and reliability.  The results of this study were made the core facets of the implementation of the business plan and web/infrastructural project management and development.

The results were successful; the web hosting provider now supports a growing number of clientele and is currently entering new areas in surrounding markets.

Inspire Motoring; localised driving school – website design and marketing

Inspire Motoring are a local driving school to the area of Penistone and Barnsley.  They are a solid web hosting client and had their website designed and professionally touched to be tailored to their business.

The business is now successful and operating in the Barnsley and Penistone areas of South Yorkshire.  The local image and specificity of service of the driving school is a major key to its success.

Education Committee – Scrutiny & Attendance Consultation

Formal meeting to discuss issues of scrutiny with young people in schools across the region.

StormDart sent one of it’s principal consultants to discuss the issues with the Mayor of Barnsley and Penistone along with the South Yorkshire Education Committee ambassador.

Topic of educational reform was briefly touched upon during the discussion.  Many points and key regarded parties were talked about along with their relevance to any upcoming projects.

National Young Engineer for Britain Awards – Judging Panel

Involvements with the Mott MacDonald Group gave the StormDart Principle Consultant and Managing Director; Nathan Winch the opportunity to judge at the National Young Engineer for Britain Awards. This included selecting winning entries from a spectrum of entrants ranging from primary school pupils to College and University students from all engineering and educational backgrounds from across the United Kingdom. The event was a huge success that year.

Out of the large number of finalists, the judges selected the winners for the following categories:

After the night had come to a close, Nathan commented on the success of the event saying,

Haycock & Todd Land Surveying – Surveying & Consultative Assistance

Work with this company involved the surveying of several sites to deem ready for architectural use. Technical survey drawings were put together while taking careful consideration for their clients. Was an aide to site organisation.

StormDart sent out one of it’s principal consultants to work with Haycock & Todd Land Surveying to assist in office management and client communications.  Office efficiency was improved and, thus, employee moral increased as a bi-product.

Getonic – UK Market Consultation with Software Integration

Getonic were very easy to deal with. This particular client was looking for everything that StormDart was offering. Work involved providing eMarketing advice with SEM consultation. Advanced discussion also led to a proposed, accepted and finalsed business partnership which still stands to date. The alternative payment platform is integrated into many StormDart systems, products and services.

BlueLounge Solutions Ltd is a search engine optimisation and marketing company that was looking to start up and expand.

The company was incorporated, structured and aligned by StormDart.  The board of directors was appointed and office space allocated.  The business is now profitable and works closely with StormDart to create a comprehensive package of services to their client base which as a consequence, has doubled in number.
